On 13.05.2025 celebrated International Nurse Day in Shrimati Maya College of Nursing with great enthusiasm and fervor. The event aimed to honor the tireless efforts and dedication of nursing professionals in providing quality healthcare. The celebration included basic safety activities, such as skits, speeches, and award ceremony. The event was attended by President of college Dr. Sangita Deotale, Principal of College Ms. Rujuta Bhoge, Admin Head Mr. Saket Wankar ,Teacher Staff and Students. The occasion served as a reminder of the crucial role nurses play in the healthcare system and the importance of recognizing their contributions.
On 15.01.2025 oath and lamp lighting ceremony conducted in Shrimati Maya College of Nursing Butibori Nagpur, for GNM 1st year students the tradition of lamp lighting ceremony serves as an icon and inspiration in nursing profession from Florence Nightingale who is known as the founder of modern nursing. The lamp lighting ceremony formally declares the student's entry into the nursing profession. As Chief guest President of Maya Hospital Dr. Sangita Deotale, Director of college Dr. Shyam Deotale, HOD Dr. Madhuri Deotale , Admin Head Mr. Saket Wankar, Principal Mrs. Rujuta Bhoge and all Teachers in their presence students took the oath and lamp lighting ceremony were done.
Field Visit to MIDC Water Purification Department Objective The objective of this field visit was to gain practical knowledge and insights into the water purification process and operations at the MIDC water purification department. Observations During the visit, we observed the following: - Water treatment processes, including coagulation, sedimentation, filtration, and disinfection - Operation and maintenance of water treatment plants - Quality control measures and testing procedures - Wastewater management and disposal practices Key Takeaways The visit provided valuable insights into the importance of water purification and the role of MIDC in ensuring safe and clean water supply for industrial and domestic use.
